DwarfCichlid.com – keeping, breeding, and buying dwarf cichlids

Dwarf cichlids are generally defined by size alone. They should be less than 4″ total length at maximum size. Most are “soft water dwarfs” which come from South America and West Africa but there are species that qualify in size that are found in hard water. This site only covers the soft water species.

The content on this site mostly falls into two categories; articles about fish keeping, and articles about fish species. I hope you find the site easy to navigate.
